We are a new and growing public charter school in Parrish, FL, built on a belief that every child deserves an innovative, high-quality education — and that families should be partners every step of the way.

Our Story

Our Story: Built for Parrish Families

North River Charter Academy was established to bring something different to the Parrish community — a tuition-free public charter school where hands-on, project-based learning is the standard, not the exception. We believe children learn best when they are engaged, challenged, and supported.

Our STEAM-focused model integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics into daily instruction. Students do not just study subjects in isolation — they apply knowledge across disciplines to solve real-world problems and build skills that will serve them for life.

We are proudly growing alongside our students. Starting with Kindergarten through 2nd grade in 2025–2026, we will expand a grade level each year, reaching K–8 by 2028–2029. Every family who joins us now is part of building something great from the ground up.

Curriculum

Integrated STEAM Learning

Every lesson is designed to connect multiple disciplines. A student building a bridge in LEGO Club is using engineering principles; a student performing in theater is developing communication skills — learning is everywhere.

Support

Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS)

We use a data-driven MTSS framework to identify students who need additional support. This includes differentiated instruction, small-group interventions, and progress monitoring — paired with consistent family communication.

Inclusion

Exceptional Student Education (ESE)

North River Charter Academy provides ESE services in accordance with state and federal guidelines. We are committed to individualized instruction, accommodations, and collaboration with families to ensure every child can succeed.

Purposeful Technology Integration
